Remember the cartoon character Yosemite Sam ?

Well I think he has been reincarnated ! !

I have been watching this ruler of the feeder for awhile. He is about one half the size of the other hummingbirds but he chases them all away. I have tried to get pictures of him once before but didn’t get anything worthwhile but today he seemed a little more cooperative. He would first fly around my head, I think checking to make sure I didn’t smell like sugar water, then, if they were no other intruders he would set on his lookout post.

While looking through the viewfinder I just kept thinking…

“Yosemite Sam is alive and well living as a hummingbird” LOL !
